Recently I have been placing ads in a variety of publications and websites to recruit for Security Officers and Special Event Staff.  I spend thousands of dollars over the course of a year using major newspapers and websites to satisfy my hiring needs in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria, Vancouver and Toronto. The week I printed with My Job Finder magazine I noticed a considerable influx of resumes. Going off Mike's suggestion, we set the bar a little higher by designing the ad more specifically to attract specific candidates as opposed to a stack of resumes I would then be forced to sift through. The ads we created together targeted candidates who are better pre-qualified which saves me TIME and MONEY!
